PART I
In your groups of two, select your own example of 'media activism' (i.e. by an independent media company; a campaign; a movement; a piece of culture jamming; or an alternate example of your defining) and research how far that example of activism extends to the following:

• Influence(s/d) media content and practices;
• Advocate(s/d) for media policy/regulation reform;
• Help(s/d) the evolution of an independent and participatory media;
• Change(s/d) the relationship of audience and media; and/or
• Use(s/d) the media to affect ideological changes in everyday contexts.

You should email me the URL of your blog as soon as possible and post a response to the above in your blog by 12:00 Friday 12 Feb.

PART II

• offer constructive feedback on at least 3 of your peers' contributions to the assignment by commenting on their post.
